How it
started

Alia × F&G • Coppercats, Dalston

Foodie & Grubbies already run the kitchen at Coppercats: wings, tacos and fries, Wednesday to Saturday. Alia had the famous plantain cheesecake. So the two of them gave Sunday to the roast they grew up wanting: jerk chicken, rice and peas, short rib mac and all the trimmings.

Tasting day was Alia’s first ever day in a kitchen: a lot of screaming, a lot of jerk and a crash course in portion control. The first plates went to the foodies we know and love. Why do it? Because Sunday is for good food, good vibes and the whole crew round one table.
